Elegant and pleasingly worked designs combining the lettering and bird species, great for colouring, teaching and for further design work. There are twenty-nine species of birds in total, each accompanying a different letter of the alphabet and appearing in an appropriate setting, for example amongst leaves or tree branches or on water.
Bluebirds frame the letter "B," an ibis stands as high as the letter "I," and an "S" curves around the bodies of three mute swans. Identifying captions are included, which also have the latin as well as common names.
