Power circular graphics, originally drawn by Pre-Colombian Mexican tribes and collected here in a unique volume of designs.
300 original motifs and emblems created by the Aztecs, Toltecs, Totonacs and others, these are strong graphics of mainly animal and geometric themes.
The designs were found on malacates; small clay whorls - round objects with a hole at centre - discovered in archeological digs: manlike deities; real and fantastic creatures; reptiles, birds, flowers; masks, geometrical figures, wheels, foliage, maze patterns, frets - ideas characteristic of Pre-Colombian art.
