A selection of fashion items as pictured in Sears, Roebuck, and other mail order catalogues of the 1920's that accurately records what men, women and children actually wore in the jazz age. Women could order porch and morning dresses, togs for outing and sports wear, flapper dresses, bob hats and fur coats. Men could choose from hunting clothing, dusters, fine suits, high grade riding breeches, ties, sweaters and shirts. For children there are suits for play, dresses, sweaters and night clothes. An introductory essay sets the clothes in historical context.
