French Baroque and Rococo court fashions drawn from accurate and carefully researched historical sources. These line drawings are ideal to colour but also great reference for this period of French historic costume, from 1638 to 1715. Images include cavalier costumes, styles of the upper class, fashionable men circa 1660, a widow's costume from 1660, a gentleman and lady of 1680, fashionable couple of 1730 and many more detailed drawings.
The designs are from the courts of the 'Sun King,' Louis XIV (1638-1715), and his successor, Louis XV (1710-1774).
