South Seas Designs CD-ROM and Book

From New Guinea and other islands, this collection of images represents the art and craft traditions of the Melanesian island group on the South Seas. Images and designs include carvings in wood, bamboo, gourds, coconut-shell, and tortoiseshell, spirals, triangles, and zigzags to human figures, lizards, and birds. 40 full-colour and 354 black-and-white images include weapons, canoe and shield decorations, abstracts and carved human figures.
