Lush and colourful collection of interior patterns, for fabrics and wallpapers, from the 15th Century to the present day. Created in association with London's Victoria and Albert museum collections, the emphasis is on high quality and compelling visual design through the different epochs.
The book is divided into 7 centuries from the 15th onwards, and filled with high quality reproductions of important historic patterns. These include: tapestries and panels by unknown past masters, Turkish and Peruvian textiles, block prints, hand embroidery, roller printed cotton designs, Liberty prints by Arthur Silver, William Morris designs, mid-century modernist influenced fabrics and many more.
